C. C. Ward & Associates Announces the Release of New Program Help Those Who Have Lost Their Jobs

October 27th, 2008 · No Comments

In an effort to help the increasing number of people losing their jobs, C. C. Ward & Associates has developed The Job Loss Prescription.  This program is based upon the system that has been successfully used by turnaround management consultants to rescue companies in trouble.

The program is offered, for free, at www.JobLossRx.com.

Clinton Ward, company President, states, “The approach that we took in creating the Job Loss Prescription program was to combine traditional advice with the steps and counseling we give our corporate clients who are in a turnaround or rebuilding situation.  We have pictured the person who has lost their job as their own business.  In reality, they really are.  Their skills, talents and abilities are the commodities they sell to an employer in exchange for money.”

By looking at a person in this light, we have developed a six-step program to move them to their next position.  The steps are designed to:

- help a person deal with the initial shock of losing their job;

- stabilize their financial condition;

- understand their new relationship with their past employer;

- focus on their sellable skill sets;

- develop a plan for their immediate future; and

- outline the moves necessary to get their next position.

The six steps are broken into forty pieces.  We have found that by dividing the steps into smaller pieces, the level of accomplishment increases and the rate for successful completion of the entire program grows exponentially.

In order to be as “user friendly” as possible, the program has been placed on a one page website with no registration required.  Because this website will be constantly evolving, we encourage visitors to check back often or to register for automatic notifications of upgrades to the site, www.JobLossRx.com.  A companion workbook is available, but not necessary, to assist users in successfully completing the program.

This program can be especially important for those who have lost jobs in the transportation, automotive, real estate/mortgage and retail industries as many of these jobs have been permanently eliminated.

In summary, our goal is to help people, who find themselves in a difficult position because of the loss of their job, to ultimately define the opportunity they want and create a strong and desirable product, themselves, as possible.
