Communication Expert Offers Free Seminar Seats to the Unemployed

December 18th, 2008 · No Comments

Communication authority Paul Endress, leader of the business consulting firm Maximum Advantage, announced today a plan to include unemployed business professionals among the participants of his intensive two-day course “Effective Communication for Today’s Competitive Workplace” scheduled for multiple cities across the U.S.

Endress has reserved five complimentary VIP seats at each of his eleven 2009 Effective Communication seminars for unemployed professionals who have recently lost employment due to economic conditions. He explains why he is making the offer, “What they will learn at this workshop will fortify and amplify their hard skills education and training, and build their levels of confidence and competence. Whether it’s making presentations, selling a product or service, analyzing data, alleviating stress at home; well really anything at all, including selling themselves during an interview — they will be able to easily communicate what they know, what they want, and what they need to be done.”

Designed for business professionals who rely on the quality of their communication and human interaction to get things done, “Effective Communication for Today’s Competitive Workplace” is a fast-paced two-day interactive event that provides attendees with the framework for alleviating the pressures of today’s competitive workplace where miscommunication, stress and less focus among staff and leadership can create ineffective teams and a decrease in productivity and profits.

This seminar solves attendees’ most serious issues in their places of employment by giving them the techniques and strategies to communicate most effectively through understanding the other person’s point of view; and by customizing verbal, non-verbal and written messages to reach the other person on his or her level for positive outcomes to every conversation. Each attendee is asked to write down his or her most challenging communication issue and bring it to the seminar where they will develop a solution to the problem by the end of the workshop.

The course provides 11.5 HR recertification credit hours and 1.1 CEUs and will explore the mental processes of communication. Participants will learn how to interact effectively with everyone around them, to resolve conflict and work well with difficult people, how to provide exceptional motivation and rewards, to appreciate the differences in people of different generations and different cultures, to persuade people to their way of thinking to create instant rapport with anyone, and how to create email messages that are understood clearly and correctly.

The seminar is the brainchild of communication authority Paul Endress who during his extensive business career has founded nine companies. He has been quoted in the New York Times, Entrepreneur, Forbes and USA TODAY, plus hundreds of trade and industry publications.
