Thus, after being invited to numerous networking events by friends and former colleagues to network, I was embarrassed to bring dozens of print copies of my resume and did not make the necessary connections with those who attended… It dawned on me after someone gave me their card to call them that if I had one in return with my bio, credentials, and contact information how I would be completely taking full advantage of the moment. Plus, I would certainly “wow” someone for my first impression with them.
